  2. Denny Hudock & Dorothea Kehres says:

Colletta was a wonderful person and a good friend to both of us. We would go the the races and Big Bob and I would sit on one side and talk racing and Colletta and Dorothea would talk about whatever girls talk about. It was always a joy to see both of them, always together, and so much fun. Rest in Peace, Colletta. Our condolences to the whole family

  3. Renee Fonte says:

    Dear Mom,

Your smile, your laugh, and your love will be dearly missed. You have touched the lives of not only the six children you gave birth to and raised; but countless others who have been privileged to be a part of your life.

For more than sixty years you have prayed for each of us to be happy, healthy and enjoy a good life. As we moved on to make our own way each year without fail on every Birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter we would find a card in the mail sending your love and acknowledgment that we were in your thoughts and prayers.

Mom, you’re a guardian angel now!

We will continue our life’s journey as a testament of your goodness and grace. I’ve no doubt you’ll continue to watch over us and be our guiding light, giving us the strength we need to go on, sitting on our shoulder, whispering your words of wisdom. We know you are in heaven – joyful and at peace.

I trust you shall continue to create a little mischief for us here as you did on your day of leaving. Cathy, Dawn, Nancy & I each checked your purse and wallet, drawers, etc. to find your card holder. We searched drawers, robe pockets, stacks of papers, under the cushions of the couch, behind the couch and every nook we could think of for your card holder. Bill, Gregg and Bobby searched rooms eventually we ended up back in the bedroom together.
Bill said to check your purse: Cathy explained we had already – though she got the purse out again, opened it and there hidden within plain sight was the card holder! The only feasible explanation is that you hid it earlier to make us work together looking for it. I trust God is enjoying your sense of humor.

We know saying good-bye was difficult not only for us but for you too. We were amazed and proud of your strength, determination and independence.

Be free Mom, know that we love you and will continue your legacy of goodness & grace.

With God All Things Are Possible

    I love you,
    Renée
