John Hajnal

John Andrew Hajnal passed away September 28, 2011. His family was very important to him. His parents were John and Mary Hajnal. Ted, Laura, and Mary were his brothers and sisters. John was the father to Preacher (BJ), Karen, Michael (Leslie), and Mark. Bridgette (David), John (Sara), and Michelle were his grandchildren and Nicole, Kaylie, and Kaleb were his great grandchildren.

John talked a lot about his caddying various golf courses around Cleveland in his younger days. He told us about the different people he met and the difficult time he had reaching some of the golf courses.

He loved Elvis and liked the Rolling Stones and any music from the 50’s and 60’s.

John remembered, with great fondness, the 3 women, who at various stages, he shared his life with – Bonnie, his ex-wife, Carol, his longtime companion, and Abby, the mother of his youngest son.

He watched the Indians on TV and loved our Itailain Greyhound – Cocoa.

His health prevented him from getting out much, so we tried to keep him up to date on family matters.
