Antonia “Tonie” Castro (née Sepulveda) age 63, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 12th 2018. Tonie was born May 10th 1955 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and resided in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tonie who was preceded in death by her parents Evangelista and Perfecta Sepulveda and was the youngest of 4 siblings. Along with her sisters Carmen Echols, Anna Rosario, & Socorro Sepulveda, Tonie moved to New York City at the age of two where she attended New York Schools. When Tonie was a young adult, she then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she met and married Edwin Castro.
Later in life they owned and operated a small boutique latin record store in Cleveland known as Discolandia/ Isla Music.
Over the years Edwin and Tonie had three sons. Edwin Omar, Edward Anthony, and Andrew Steven.
Tonie was a witty, loving wife, mother, & grandmother. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.
A MEMORIAL VISITATION will be held at the YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Road, Parma OH 44134 on Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 from 11AM to 12 NOON. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will begin at 12 Noon.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contribution may be made in her memory to Edwin Castro, %Cleveland Cremation, 5618 Broadview Rd Parma, Ohio 44134.

I met Tonie when she was a young (teen) and her sister Carmen was dating my brother Walter. Her mother and sister were such a lovely family. Carmen kept me updated on Tonie’s life. We will miss her and her pert smile. RIP sweet lady.

I am a close Friend of Carmen Echols from South Carolina. I met Toni when she visited Carmen. We kept in contact thru Carmen over the years.
I miss your smile, laugh and ability to light up a room. You where such a beautiful person, inside and out. I loved your fashion, your humor, your advise. I love you prima and I’m so honored to have had you in my life. Rest in Heaven.

Tonie was such a pure and beautiful person, I had the pleasure to meet in South Carolina through her sister my comadre Carmen, I am truly sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with each of you through this time of sorrow.
