Barbara A. Head

Barbara Ann Head originally from Griffen, Georgia and formerly of Shaker Heights, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Barbara is survived by her sons Britt (Annie) Head of Florida and Cedric Head of Georgia, granddaughter Zipporah. Barbara was introduced to Jehovah by a coworker and her baptism led to many privileges at the Woodmere congregation. She was a full time minister devoting many hours to sharing her faith with others. Barbara was an avid reader, loved to cook and tend to her garden. Seeing her spring garden come to life was her joy! She loved to read her scriptures, spend time with her studies and her brothers and sisters from the hall. Special thank you to everyone that helped during this difficult time.

Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, she was cremated. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or jw.org.
