Barbara Ezinski (née Boots), 81, of Medina, passed away peacefully in her home on November 19, 2017. She left us surrounded by the people she loved, the flowers and knickknacks she held so dear, and photographs of everybody who she’s now joined in heaven. Barbara’s spirit is carried by her three children, Debbie (Robert), John (Nancy) and Roseanne (Roy). She was a grandmother of nine, Michael,Stacy, Patrick (Brandy), Roy (Tammy), Timothy (Amanda), Christina, John, Ryan, and Nathan and 12 great-grandchildren, Michael, Cade, Logan, Kia, Dominic, Victor, Haidyn, Nora, Grey, Nathaniel, Austyn and Justyn. Her sisters, Audrey and Judy (Jim), and many nieces, nephews and friends will miss her dearly.
Barbara was the oldest child of John and Anne Boots, and grew up in Cleveland and Parma with her sisters and brother Bob, who passed away in early 2015. She was a devout Catholic and went to Lourde’s Academy for high school. She married John Ezinski in 1954, and they lived in Cleveland for decades. Barbara worked in a bakery, and countless other jobs, but her real talent was working with crafts. She learned to sew as an adult, and began to make her own clothes and clothes for her children. Barbara also worked with ceramics and paint, making dolls and sculptures. Some of the clothes, blankets, and dolls/crafts that she made over the years were sold as a small side job. As she got older, she found a passion for photography and utilized it on the plants she took care of and wildlife that would sometimes adorn their leaves. Through this, she was able to bring the outside into her home, even when she was no longer able to enjoy it up close.
There will be a private service held for her family and friends in celebration of her life in December. A private burial will also be held at a later date. She will be buried above her mother and next to her father at Holy Cross cemetery.

Barbara BOOTS (maiden name) was a favorite cousin, daughter of my favorite aunt Anne. LAUGHTER was Barb’s gift to me and the world but her wide range talents for upholstery and on and on totally rocketed me into a fourth dimension. She was another of my life’s missed opportunities because we drifted apart too soon and now permanently.
