Bernadine Belmonte (nee Konkiel), 65, of Euclid, OH, passed away on March
31, 2020, after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Akron’s North
Hill neighborhood, graduating from North High School. She graduated with
an RN from the St. Thomas School of Nursing. She is preceded in death by
her beloved husband of 35 years, Rogel Belmonte; her sister, Jane Haren;
and brother, Stanley Konkiel III. She is survived by her daughters,
Brigitte (Paul) Jarc of Cleveland Heights, OH; Maria Belmonte of Columbus,
OH; and son, Rogel Adam Belmonte. She is also survived by her beloved
grandson, Stephen Jarc, of Cleveland Heights. Bernadine will be remembered
for her artistic talent–crocheting stuffed animals and blankets, as well
as making funny homemade cards. She will also be remembered for her sense
of humor, and the sound of her laughter will be terribly missed. Funeral
services will be private at this time but a memorial service will be held
at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Compassionate
Care Hospice for whom the family will always be grateful.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is very heartbreaking, but always remember good times. Also Bernie is not in pain anymore. And the very next thing she will see is our Savior Jesus Christ in the clouds of Glory!!! Praying for your comfort. I will miss you Bernie.
