BETTY JANE (née ROWLAND) COTTINGHAM- RAYMOND
Born: July 11, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio
Died: June 30th 2018. She lived a full life with no regrets. She attended Baldwin Wallace College. Worked in accounting for various accountants. She found time for family, travel, church, hobbies, quilting and volunteering. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Painesville, also member of Perry and Willoughby Senior centers as well as the Red Hats.
She volunteered for Heather Hill nursing home in Chardon where her mother was a resident for 11 years. She accumulated over 6500 hours of service there. She volunteered at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Mentor. Most recently she volunteered at the Sunrise Assisted Living home in Parma, exercising and visiting with residents in the Reminiscence area before her diagnosis of breast cancer.
She is survived by her children, Russell E Sulzmann II (Donna), Sandra J Rasch, John C Cottingham (Sally),Brian Cottingham, Robert Raymond, David Raymond, Barbara Raymond. She had eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service celebrating her life. It will be held on Saturday July 14th, 2018 at 11am, at the First Baptist Church 10801 Ridge Rd. Painesville, Oh 44077 followed by a light luncheon.
