It was Kathy, Brenda and me!! What happy, wonderful years we had together!! AND, we’ll be together again, ‘m sure!!! God bless our familie !!!! Pat Needham Baldwin
Very sad to learn of Brenda’s passing. We were classmates at Nazareth class of 1960. We were a small group of friends and nearly sisters. Over the years we met at various reunions and always felt the years were kind to us. I will remember her in my prayers. Deepest sympathy to you and all who loved her. God bless you and keep you safe. Love, Marilyln Glauner
I had Miss Brady for 4th and 5th grade. After having some pretty strict nuns in primary grades, her teaching style and sense of humor was practically therapeutic. She was the first teacher to help me to like school and really fostered my love of reading (even though I always returned my library books late). We were so lucky to have her!
You made teaching at St. Bridget’s such for for the 28 years I was there with you. I’ll never forget the late spring and early fall days when we’d gather our golf clubs with Marge Madej and Alice Torrence and head out to the links. No one could believe all the food we could eat while golfing. You will always be remembered as a spectacular friend. We know you are in God’s welcoming arms.
Brenda was the older sister I never had, and part of our family for more than 40 years. She was kind, witty and generous. She loved her family. Miss Brady taught generations of students at St. Bridget School and was often recognized and greeted by former students. My children spent many weekends “spending the night” at her home. We ate many Sunday meals together and gathered for most holidays, blending traditions from our families. She decorated Christmas cookies with us every year and always complained, but loved, decorating the triangle Santa cookies.
Although we will be unable to do these things together anymore, we will treasure the memories of time spent together. It was a difficult year for Brenda and she is at peace. She was loved and will be remembered and missed.
Eternal rest grant unto you.
We love you and miss you Aunt Brenda. I loved our summer visits every year and all of the fun times, yes even Cedar Point. I’ll always cherish driving around and getting lost. You had a way to make everything more fun and could cheer anyone up. Thank you for everything you did for me. We love you and miss you. Sheila
