Carol A. Engstrom
Carol A. Engstrom age 77 of Strongsville formerly of Solon, passed away on June 13, 2021, after a short illness. Carol was born in Chicago, IL to the late Ruth (née Silversen) and Harold Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard E. Engstrom, her two amazing sons, Jeffrey Engstrom of Broadview Heights, OH, Bryan (Alicia) Engstrom, proud grandmother of, Ashley and Connor Engstrom of Strongsville, OH, and her cherished sister Janice Braband, Cave Creek, AZ.
Carol was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Solon. She participated with various musical groups, and gave of her time in many charitable ways with the church, the VFW, the VASA Club, and numerous other activities always performed with a smile.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7196 SOM Center Rd., Solon, OH 44139. A light luncheon will be served immediately following in the church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Rd., Suite 10, Independence, OH 44131, or American Cancer Society at cancer.org to donate on-line in memory of Carol Engstrom.

My deepest condolences to the Engstrom family. Carol was the nanny for my two grandchildren for which I am grateful. She was a kind, friendly loving woman and my heart goes out to your family for the loss of someone so special.
Mrs. Engstrom was always kind to me. When she was out in her front yard on Fox Run, she would always wave or say hello when I passed by. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and I am very sorry to learn of her passing. Mr. Engstrom, Jeff, and Bryan, I am sending you and your whole family my sincerest condolences.?
