Daniel Apathy
Daniel Apathy, age 57, lost his courageous battle with esophageal cancer on August 4, 2019. Loving husband of 25 years on August 20th to Shari (Brinks). Incredibly proud father of Sam, Ben, and Alex. Son of the late Albert and Arline. Brother of Margaret Nolan (Gary), Albert, Kathy Manning (Tim), Janet Renz (Bob), James (Lori), Paul (dcsd) (Cindy), Thomas (Janet), Mary Tolar, and Barbara Prusovic (Nick). Uncle and great uncle of many. Son in law of Larry and Patricia Brinks. Brother in law of Debra Colson. Friend to all who knew him. Dedicated service worker for the city of Brook Park for 31 years. A joyful celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Saturday September 21st from 2-6pm at Fatheads Restaurant and Brewery. 17450 Engle lake Dr. Middleburg Heights Oh.

Shari, Sam, Ben and Alex,
I am sorry for your loss. Dan was a great man and cousin. We only lived a few streets away from his family and were close to them as we all grew up together. Love from our family to yours.
My heart is broken over the loss of Dan. I just heard and I am so saddened. He put up such a brave fight. My thoughts and prayers go out to Sherry and the boys as well as the entire Apathy Family. I am so happy to be able to call him my friend.

Just a great guy, always smiling, I enjoyed talking with him and he was the BEST maintenance man when he was assigned to the Brook Park Police Station, we hated to see him transfer out to a better position with the Brook Park service department but he deserved it. He will be missed.

I grew up in Brook Park and went to Assumption School with Dan. Over the years we lost touch, but I kept up on people’s lives thru posts of other Assumption grads.
I was sorry to hear of this and pray you find the peace in the time ahead without Dan. You will always have a guardian angel looking over you.
