Daryl Wynn Fischer-Scattone

Daryl Wynn Fischer-Scattone, age 79 of Garfield Heights, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born May 18, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio to William C. Fischer and Doris (Ross) Fischer. She is survived by her son Branden Scattone (Deborah), granddaughters Sophia, Anna, and Emily; two siblings, William “Bill” Fischer and Jennifer Habib (Victor). Daryl was preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Scattone.
She was a loving, kind and giving mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed cooking, creating her own recipes and catering. She always had an ear to listen. She also had a heart for stray cats and always found them a home.
A memorial and celebration of Daryl’s life will take place at the Malloy-Esposito Celebration Center at 6384 Pearl Rd., Parma Hts., Ohio 44130 on February 26. Service will be from 2:30 to 3:30 and refreshments from 3:30 to 5:00.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Daryl’s name, to a charity that supports animal welfare.
