David A. Kraska

David Alan Kraska, 53, of Berea, Ohio, passed away of natural causes on March 3rd,2023. David is survived by his sister Tracey Erickson, father David J. Kraska, brothersDarryl and Dylan Kraska, sister Sarah Kraska, cousins Christopher Saplak and ShaunaDiscenza (nee Saplak), family, chosen family, many friends, and his beloved pitbull mix,Lucy. Preceding David in death were his mothers: Linda Kay Saplak and DorothyHawver (Morton, nee Saplak), stepfather Everett Morton, brothers William and AlanSaplak, and his adored dogs Cu Culainn and Sydney.

David will be remembered by so many for his talent in the music he made, his vinyl popart, his songwriting, and his ability to bring people together for great events celebrating music and art. He was a talented artist, musician, and songwriter. He was lead singer-songwriter in the band, Decadent, and participated in projects with many other bands
and artists as well.

David never knew a stranger, and he enjoyed making connections with those he encountered. He hadd a deep love for nature and animals, organizing benefits for local animal rescueorganizations. He has friends who intend to continue this annual tradition, to honor him.

Friends of David will be performing throughout the day covering his songs and songs he loved to perform. Put on your favorite hat as we remember the vivacious life of a friend,
an artist, and a man who brought so much life to everything he touched.
