Fred V. Ellis

In loving memory of Fred Virgil Ellis 1946-2022

We’re saddened to share that we lost a pillar in our family on Friday, June 24th, 2022 when Fred Ellis passed away. Fred was mostly known for his adventurous days full of hunting, fishing, and metropark walks! Playing cards and laughter seemed to follow whenever he was near. Mr. Ellis is survived by four daughters Melissa (Jeff) Jennings, Barbara (Derrick) Falgout, Olivia (Ramon) Ellis, and Alysha Ellis alongside two sons Timothy (Renee) Ellis & Patrick (Brandi) Ellis, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Ellis is also survived by two sisters Mary Ann Evou and Karen (Tom) Annerino, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Ellis and Lilly Ellis, sister Carol Russell and Patricia Ellis, brother George Ellis, and daughter Faith Ellis. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who interacted with him and the ones that will hear the stories.

Smile on as I soar with the birds 

Smile on as I run in the wild 

Smile on as I swim with the fishes 

Smile on as I look down from heaven over you 

Smile now for our days were short but memorable 

Lots of laughs and even some tears 

Know that my pain didn’t carry on with me

I am full of love and grace, I’m at peace now
