GENAMAE PETRELLA

GENAMAE (Nee Swann) PETRELLA, age 99, died June 26, 2024 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Loving wife of Joseph (deceased) for 57 years; beloved mother of Shirley Mira, Paul (Ellen) and Gloria (Ron) Cavalier. Daughter of Samuel Swann and Hattie (nee Cureton) Swann of Newport, Tennessee; sister of nine brothers and sisters: Roy; Quinton (Bud); Samuel, Jr.; Earl (Tom); Pauline Martinovich; Helen Mozingo; Raymond (Bill); Imogene (Sue) Stevens (all deceased) and Clementine Burson. Loving grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 17; and great-great grandmother of 5; Aunt of many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. A special thanks to the staff at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center who took such loving care of “granny.” Nurses, aides and PT staff went above and beyond to give our mother exceptional care! We can never thank them enough!
