Gladys Marie Clemons, 64, of Berea, Ohio passed away on May 1, 2017 from complications of diabetes and a stroke. Ms. Clemons was a Valentine’s Day baby, born on February 14, 1953 in West Virginia.
Gladys’ life will be celebrated on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2-6 at Moosehead Lodge, 7010 Broadview Road, Parma). Dress is casual.
Gladys spent most of her career working with developmentally disabled adults, all while caring for her mentally retarded brother, Brian. Gladys enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Gladys also enjoyed traveling (her favorite vacation spot was Myrtle Beach).
Gladys is preceded in death by the following: Mother (Audrey), Father (Edward), Brothers (Timmy and Johnny), and Sister (Shirley Schurdell).
Survivors include: Son (Christopher James (wife Tracy)), Granddaughter (Savannah), Grandson (Stark), Sister (Sandy Allen (husband Dave)), Brothers (David (wife Lisa), Chuck, Jamie, Robbie & Brian).

Gladys will be missed by so many. She touched so many lives at SWAAC. I am blessed to have been called her friend. Love you always.
I did not know Ms. Clemons but based on what I read about her, she was a warm and caring person that will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to the family.
