Herbert “Bud” Hooker

Herbert “Bud” Hooker passed away 1/23/13 at Lima Hospital in the care of Hospice. Bud was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Rose and Herbert Hooker. Bud moved to Strongsville as a young boy and graduated in the Class of 1953. He went on to meet and marry Jean Osborne in 1955 and have 6 children. They moved to Indian Lake, Ohio in 1974 where he continued his heating/cooling profession and volunteered for Friends Helping Friends. After retirement, he took up woodworking which brought him great fulfillment for the rest of his life. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean and parents Rose and Herbert Hooker.

Bud is survived by sisters Arlene and Bonnie and children Terry(David)Kaminski, Becky(Lee Roy)Clem,

Michael(Diana)Hooker, Tracy(Eric)Braun, Herbert(Tammy)Hooker and Brenda(Scott Reier), nineteen grandchildren and 9 great children.

Memorial contributions may be made to local Hospice programs or AmVets. Open House SATURDAY 3-8PM at David and Terry’s House, 4773 Forest Grove, Brunswick OH 44212.

Arrangements made by Cleveland Cremation.
