Ingeborg E. Tegeler
Ingeborg Eva Tegeler passed away peacefully at her home in Ohio surrounded by family. Inge was born on April 12, 1925 to Georg and Augusta Kressner in Berlin, Germany. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Ralph, and is survived by her children, Ingrid (Tim) Lewis of Cleveland, OH and Lisa Tegeler of Oak Forest, IL, her grandchildren, Christin (Alex), Eric, Brandon, Jason and Alyssa, as well as her sister, Evelyn Leise, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Inge enjoyed singing hymns and worshiping her Savior in church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking German dishes. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends.
The Memorial and Celebration of Inge’s life will be Tuesday, June 28th at 10:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (6850 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477). Burial will follow at 11:00 AM Bethania Cemetery (7701 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to support Trinity Lutheran Church, Tinley Park, IL or Bethany Lutheran Church, Parma, OH.

I was so blessed to meet Inge this past year and to spend many hours with her. We enjoyed each other’s company, shared our faith and prayed for each other and our families. Thank you Lewis family, for the opportunity to get to know her. I will miss her, but I know that we will meet again!
Inge was a beautiful person. We remember her laughter and smile. Our thoughts are with Ingrid and Lisa and families. God be with you and give you peace.
