Janice O’Brien (nee Monaco) age 73, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Beloved wife of 51 years to John O’Brien. Loving mother of Janet and John. Dear sister to Donna (Hoover). Aunt and friend to many. She was preceded into death by her parents Ann (Grabowski) and Nicholas Monaco.
She was known as Jan to her many friends and family and had a love for beagles including her own, Stanley, but also loved her “Grandpups” Bailey and Hank. She always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially loved attending Polka events all over Cleveland. She grew up in a music loving family and often attended dances with her family. Most recently she was an active member of the Cleveland Polka Association and enjoyed the many dances and events they held. Janice was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
VISITATION will be held FRIDAY, JUNE 18, 2021 from 11:00-12:00PM at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Rd Parma 44134; with a Catholic service to follow.
