John Samuel Ray Fiore, 71, passed away on October 18, 2024, at Ames Family Hospice. Born on September 22, 1953, John lived a life marked by generosity and a deep love for the natural world. His career in gardening and landscaping allowed him to touch many lives, often providing his services for free to those in need.

John’s passions extended beyond his professional life. He loved boating and fishing, playing the guitar, and a devoted animal lover. His care and affection for his family and friends were profound and unwavering.

He leaves behind his brother, Brandon Fraley and his wife Gail, and his sister, Consetta Basen and her husband Ronald. John was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Frank Fiore, and his siblings Helen Cline, Adeline McNeely, Betty Medley, Dennis Fraley, Shirley Welch, Earl Fraley, Benjamin Fraley Johnson, Aretta Fraley, and Frank Fiore.

John’s life was one of heartfelt connections and enduring bonds, reflected in every garden he nurtured and every life he touched. His legacy will live on in the beauty he created and the memories cherished by all who knew him.
