Kathy Norris age 69 of Ashland, Ohio passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 after battling a short unexpected illness. Kathy was born in Ashland, Ohio to Robert and June (nee Shearer) Hetsler,  November 4, 1954. She grew up in Savannah, Ohio with her brother Gary Hetlser and graduated from Crestview High School.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, cooking, and had a passion for baking. She also loved to find a good bargain with her longtime friend Bev Rishel, with whom she visited every morning for coffee.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years Dale Norris, her 3 children Michael Walton, Barbara (Richard) Fuller, and Dawn (Timothy) Adkins, her brother Gary (Cheryl) Hetsler, and 5 granddaughters Chanin Walton, Madison, Tabitha, Morgan and Taylor Adkins.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and June (nee Shearer) Hetlser.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at The Savannah Town Hall at 2:00 PM.

The family is asking for monetary donations in lieu of flowers to help with expenses.
