Kenneth Limpert

Limpert

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth ‘Ken’ Limpert, who departed from this world on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024 at the age of 61.

Ken was born on June 4, 1962 in Fairview Park, OH to Norman and Claudia (Quigley) Limpert.  After graduating from North Olmsted High School, Ken embarked on a diverse and accomplished career. Throughout his life, Ken was a savvy entrepreneur and had a zest for business.  Ken had a passion for creating and building things, which was reflected in his various ventures with one of his biggest being classic car restoration earning him multiple awards and recognition.

Ken’s love for life extended beyond his work.  He was a devoted husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother and son.  His most cherished moments were spent with his family and friends. From Father’s Day golf outings to extravagant clambakes and epic game day celebrations for the Cleveland Browns, Ken made sure they were filled with laughter and joy.   Ken’s hospitality knew no bounds and everyone, friend or stranger, was invited.  Ken loved hosting the holidays where he could always be found playing a good joke or “gag” on those he loved the most.  Ken’s legacy of love, generosity, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife Kathy (nee Dadas) Limpert, his parents, Norman (Evelyn) Limpert and Claudia Limpert; son, Kevin Limpert; step-son, Kris (Sarah) Brickman;  step-daughter, Kim (Quinn) Killeen; sisters, Kim (Aaron) Gravesand Karin (Bruce) Jaenke; step-brothers Ed (Maria) VanGelder and Mike (Jessica) VanGelder; 7 grandchildren, Kaley (Nick), Lily, Maureen, Finnegan, Ried, Nash, Ryder; one great grand-daughter, Illianna along with many nieces and nephews.  Ken was preceded in death by his step-brother Kirk (Melissa) VanGelder and grand-daughter Chloe.

Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the countless memories shared by those whose lives he touched.

A private celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Shriners Children’s Ohio in Ken’s honor through the website below. https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/kenlimpert

May he rest in peace, knowing that his kindness and laughter will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.

Sorry to hear about Kenny. He was a one of a kind man and has showed me many things when I worked with him at mulch and more days
