Lawrence Landfried, 83, of Brunswick, passed away June 18, 2015. He grew up in East Palestine and lived in numerous places that his career took him including Ashtabula, Cleveland, Middletown NY, Racine WI, Fennimore WI, Tomahawk WI, and Jamestown PA.
A consummate educator with 63 semester hours past his master degree, Larry was a life-long learner and will always be remembered for his engaging smile and laugh, along with his love of music, books, higher education, brain research, politics, photography, architecture, poetry, golf, baseball, dogs, and the outdoors.
He is survived by his children Barbara (Jeff) Miracle, John (Gail) Landfried and grandchildren David Miracle, Sarah Miracle, Jack Landfried and Claire Landfried.
Due to his keen interest in education, Larry has donated his body to scientific research.
A celebration of life will be held on July 4, 2015 in Brunswick Hills.

Larry was our neighbor on Lake Alice in Tomahawk WI (along with his cat, Art, and dog, Ella. A funny, super smart, very active and really kind man. RIP Larry. Thanks for the memories!
