Marianne Schantz, age 75 of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022.  She is survived by her beloved Husband Bob of 52 years and their two children, Beth (Zach) and Chris (Bette).  Marianne was the older sister to Linda and Lois (Mike), and Grandchildren  Madison, Brooke and Emberly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sanda Sanders.

Marianne was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 12, 1946 and graduated from West Technical High School in 1964.

She was a devoted mother, wife, and sister always making sure everyone had what they needed and offering help.  Marianne had a passion for gardening and co-chaired the Strongsville gardening club for several years.  She loved reading and participated in a book club as well.  Her other passion was decorating her home which was always kept beautifully.

More than anything, she loved visiting with her grandchildren. Whether it was visits to the zoo, museums, Amish country, sporting events with Brooke and Madisonor her regular skype visits with Emberly, she was always a loving presence in their lives.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for family and close friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society in Marianne’s name.

    I was so sad to hear about Mrs.Schantz passing. She has been a wonderful friend to my mom and even introduced my parents to eachother. She was always so kind and funny. I have a lot of nice memories of her over the years. Praying for the family. So sorry for your loss.
