Marie F. Nicholas
Marie F. Nicholas (nee Mercurio), age 85, of Northfield, OH passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, music, singing, dancing, and gardening. Above all else, her children and the rest of her family were her greatest joy. We will always hold in our hearts that she “loved family, loved all”.
She retired from QSR in Twinsburg at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of the late Paul; loving mother of Marie Finch (Bryan Curtan), Carol Parrino, James (Diane) Parrino, Frances (Steve) Virzi, and Richard (Jamie) Nicholas. Treasured grandmother of Christine Sigman, Geoffrey Marlo, Barry (Cathy) Parrino, Anthony Parrino, Vanessa (Brandon) Pleasant, Joshua (Maria) Bunting, Angelica Virzi, Rachel Parrino, Alexis Nicholas, Michael Virzi, Robert Parrino, Payton Nicholas, Samuel Nicholas, and Jaxson Nicholas. Dearest great-grandmother of nine and great-great-grandmother of three. She was preceded in death by parents: Frank and Mary (Messina) Mercurio and siblings: Vincent Mercurio and Josephine Telatko.
Her Funeral Mass will be on November 11, 2021 at 10:00 am with a visitation from 9:30 am till the time of the service at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Road, Independence, OH.
