Marilyn Francek (Née Nagorka) was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 17, 1939. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4th, after a hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophie (Née Luchansky) Nagorka; and her brothers, Fred and Michael Nagorka. She is survived by her son, Edward Francek, and her daughters, Diane Francek and Cherie Gill. Marilyn was a loving “sister” to Carol (Née LaCoste) Nagorka, and a doting grandmother to Maddie and Lily Gill. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marilyn gently touched the lives of all who met her.
Marilyn was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and a long-time parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Parma, OH. The family takes comfort knowing that she was welcomed into heaven by her brother, Michael, and received by our Holy Father with open arms.
A funeral mass, interment, and celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at a future date.

Mom,
Look at how beautiful and happy you were just last summer for your 80th birthday!!
Words can not express the tremendous loss I am feeling now. My only consolation is that you are no longer suffering and you’re back with your brother Mike and the rest of your family.
I love you so much mom and I am glad that I was there with you holding your hand as you took your final breath. You looked very peaceful as you slipped away from us.
Love, Diane
