Mary Ciacchi Kovacevic, age 79, passed away on November 27, 2021and was born on August 5, 1942. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve Kovacevic from her second marriage; Joseph O  “Lanny” Ciacchi Jr. from her first marriage; parent’s: Paul and Jennie (née Kalister) Kepes and her son Michael. Mary is the dearest most gracious loving mother to Diane (Phil) Giordano, Joseph “Pepperoni” III, and Dino (Colleen); loving grandmother of three: Joey, Amanda, and David; brothers Paul (Wynett) (Pauline-deceased, first marriage),  Andy(Minnie)-both deceased, William “Billy”-deceased(Mary Ann); dearest friend Ron Root and his family, her faithful fur friends especially her protector and companion Fluffy, and the many family and friends that played a part in her story now and when…including her cherished St. Elizabeth Church friends where she attended school in the 50’s. Mary will be greatly missed. She shined the light of God’s love here on earth. Now she walks in it.
A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held  at St Anthony’s Church,  6750 State Road, Parma 44134, with Father Dale on December 15, 2021 at 9:30am.  A Celebration of life and burial service will be later in the spring.

    Mrs. C was one of the greatest neighbors anyone could ever have. Loving and caring. Seems like there was always authentic Italian food being prepared which she was always willing to share. Loved her and all the kids.

    Very sorry for your loss! What a great lady. So many childhood memories of her being our neighbor. I used to love going over to visit her and having Ritz crackers with butter and a glass of milk. She was the sweetest lady! Rest in peace!

    Mary was one of the sweetest people we knew. She always had a smile on her face. She was so kind and was a beautiful woman inside and out. We were privileged to have known her and she will surely be missed by family and friends alike. We love you Mary!! Heaven has just acquired a new angel.
