Michael Reinman Cooney was born November 7,1941 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Louis Reinman Cooney & Lorraine Jordan.
Michael attended North Little Rock Arkansas Public Schools later graduating from High School, to attend a Junior College studying Art. After draft into the US Army, becoming Military Police, being sent to Vietnam, getting wounded and discharged after service, lived in Cleveland Ohio, and worked at LTV Steel, TRW, Eaton Corporation and later retired from employment with Bendix Corporation as a Metallurgical technician.
Michael forgot his battle and was victorious. He laid down his armor quietly and slipped into eternal rest at 3:05 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Grande Village-Sprenger Healthcare
Michael loved fishing, drawing, playing chess and watching wildlife and fishing shows. He was a devoted, widower husband to his wife who preceded him in death (Janice 10/17/2020), and he leaves to mourn one to whom he was a loving BROTHER (Mary Linda Parks), some to whom he was a loving UNCLE MICHAEL (Michael-kids), Latonya-kids) and UNCLE MIKE (Kelley, Calina, Dana, Desire/Lynne-kids), Serena-kids), many to whom he loved as COUSINS in Arkansas and most importantly one daughter to whom he was a loving DAD (Kimberly), two granddaughters to whom he was a loving POPPIE (Jordin, Morgan), two sons to whom he was DEAD-E (Chris and Andre (aka La), and granddad-e (Cereyah, Jared, Little Andre, Myah), many grandnieces and grandnephews to whom he was UNCLE POPPIE (Kaycee-Leia, Kaira), Adriel-Andre, Jalen, Jason)

I was really sad to hear that Uncle Michael had passed. I will always remember him helping me understand Algebra(and I still have problems with it) Going fishing with him and my Dad as a little girl and teaching me how to play chess. Uncle Mike was one of the GREAT ONES! I LOVE YOU,
