Richard Pfister age 82 passed away April 20,2018. He was preceded in death by spouse Donna. Survivors include daughter Debi, son in law Shaun Jenks and son David Pfister

My condolences to you Debi and David. The last time I talked to Uncle Dick, he didn’t remember who I was, but I do have great memories of him when I was younger. I always appreciated Uncle Dick, and Aunt Donna too. I know that Uncle Dick had a hard life, and he had to deal with a lot of things that were not easy. And being his kids, and worrying about his welfare, (like all kids do for their parents) I’m sure things weren’t easy for the two of you, either. But I also remember Uncle Dick’s and Aunt Donna’s visits to North Carolina. I remember my mom and dad and the Heitmans, sitting around on our deck, gently teasing each other, talking about their younger selves, and laughing hard. It’s sad that the family lost touch over time, but I’ll always remember them all as good people, and I’ll always appreciate the connection, even though it was tenuous, ultimately. I hope you both are doing well.
