Rita J. Webb

Rita J. Webb, 93, died peacefully in hospice care on October 27, 2020. Family were able to spend time with her in the days before her passing.

Rita was born June 15, 1927 in Cleveland, OH to Leopold and Jennie Saive, and grew up in Euclid, graduating from Collinwood High School.  She and her husband, Kenneth, raised four children.  The family spent many years in Lyndhurst, OH, and later moved to North Ridgeville, OH.  After Kenneth’s passing in 1984, Rita went back to the work force as a secretary for the Ryan Law Offices in Berea, OH.

Rita was very involved in the PTA, holding state-level positions through the years.  Growing up, Rita was an avid  roller skater and ice skater, and enjoyed many days at Euclid Beach Park.  She had very fond memories of her church families at Bethany Covenant Church in Lyndhurst and Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville. Rita was always up for day trips to explore parks, museums, historical sites, and longer trips to visit lifelong friends who resided near the shores of New Jersey.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, son Jeffrey, and daughter Jennifer White.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Christopher and Matthew (Jodi), Daughter-in-Law Beverly Webb, grandchildren Adam White, Grace Mitri, and Katherine and Elizabeth Webb. A private family gathering will be held.
