Robert McMichael

Robert McMichael passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 17, 2024.  Robert was predeceased by his parents, Hercules and Carrie Bell and siblings, Larry, Gary, Van, and Jean Huff.  He is survived by his sisters Carol Smith, Ruth McMichael and Margaret Hines (Rick) and a host of nieces & nephews.  Robert graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland, OH and retired from the United States Postal Service as a Supervisor.  He loved sports and was the head coach of the Young Men’s Basketball team at East Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years.  He also loved music and spent many hours playing his organ.  Memorial Donations in Robert’s name may be made to Urban League of Greater Cleveland, 2930 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44115
