Ronnie Gene Chapman

(October 13, 1955 – January 4, 2022)

Ronnie G. Chapman, 66, of Brunswick Ohio passed away after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Ron was born in Columbus, Ohio and was the son of the late Willie Chapman and late Phyllis (Coleman) Kowalski. He attended West Tech High School in Cleveland and graduated in 1974. On August 28, 1976, he married Mary J. Lutsock in Cleveland and together they shared over 45 loving years. Family was his life and purpose. Ron was retired and had enjoyed a lifetime of golf and bowling besides many other sports, hobbies, and pets. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him until we are reunited again.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Chapman of Brunswick; son, Brian Chapman (Erin) of Valley City; daughter Christa Alexander (Jeremy) of Upper Arlington; Grandchildren, Paris & Madison Alexander, Logan Chapman; Sisters, Shelia Duffy of Cleveland, Sonia (Bob) Benjamin of Parma. To the aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, many nieces and nephews, you are also not forgotten.

Honoring his wishes, a private cremation will take place. There will also be a Celebration of Life for all held at The Eagles Club pavilion in Brunswick on Saturday, June 4, 2022 starting at 4pm.
