Sherrill, you will be missed and forever loved. You were such a beacon of warmth & kindness. My condolences to the family. Know that she loved you so much. It was wonderful to get to meet the people she was often so excited to see, like Melissa & Madelyn or Sharlene & Jeff. We had the pleasure of befriending Sherrill later in life, as we were neighbors in Boynton Beach. After my wife and fur-kids, Sherrill quickly became one of the people I talked to the most, especially during quarantine. We must of chatted several times a day, everyday. Sherrill became more than just a neighbor, but a friend, then more like family. Our dogs, especially Tofu, had such an affinity for Sherrill; always looking for Sherrill on our way past her apartment. I had so many real, in depth conversations with Sherrill & even in times of different opinions, beliefs, or perhaps varying cultural perspectives, there was nothing but the utmost respect and understanding, and always we’d arrive at a shared consensus. It was always such a joy to surprise Sherrill with a fresh pastry, talk plants/gardening, or share some delicious food or adventure story with her. Unfortunately, the day came where we moved away and had to part ways. We cried together and we said our farewells. We were no longer going to have our Nana-Sherrill near. Sherrill told us she didn’t like “Goodbye(s)”.
So Sherrill, we love You, not goodbye, but “see you later.”
We loved Sherrill who made us smile ever time we talked to her. She was a most amazing and considerate person. She will certainly be missed but not forgotten.
To Melissa, Sharlene, Jeff and Maddie.
Life takes many turns and one I will cherish forever is when Sherrill and I met those few years ago. A bond of unequalled friendship was born that day and the loss is immense. To each of you my heartfelt condolences and prayers during this very difficult time.
God Bless, Sherrill. Until we meet again

So sorry for your loss. Prayers for Sherrill and the family. Hold on to all the memories.
Sherrill was a lifelong friend for over 60 years. We shared so many good times together and I will miss her laughter and long phone calls.
I remember when my son Jason and Melissa were best friends when they were little and played together. We baked cookies, had parties lots of great times and wonderful memories in my heart.
I knew Sherrill and she was a passionate person who was loving and giving- it was just the way she was! My best memory of Sherrill was Christmas 2020. Everyone piled into my townhouse and just enjoyed a beautiful Christmas together! I will cherish those moments with Sherrill forever!
