Vonda K. Borer, 58, of North Royalton, entered into her eternal heavenly home on February 2, 2024, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Vonda was born on April 1, 1965, in Sheffield Lake, Ohio, to the late Virginia Kay and Robert Perry. She is survived by her husband, Bill; her three children: Caleb Chase of San Antonio, TX, Victoria Chase of Medina and Ben Chase of Medina (fiancé Nicole Bunjevac); granddaughter Andi Chase; her sister Cheryl (Jason) Wrenn of California and brother Robert (Melanie) Perry.
Vonda was a NASCAR superfan and willingly shared her wealth of knowledge and trivia with anyone who showed interest. She was an avid ambassador for the sport and her enthusiasm to recruit new fans was unmatched. She also enjoyed hockey and traveled to Columbus periodically with her family to watch the Blue Jackets and to Cleveland to see the Monsters. Vonda loved to sing and you could find her humming most of her waking hours because she always had a song in her heart that needed to be shared with the world. Vonda was a force of nature and had a take charge, get it done attitude with every task she faced. Her brain was full of random facts that covered almost any subject you could think of. She enjoyed watching Hallmark and Great American Family movies and, again, knew every random fact you could imagine about each movie. Vonda fiercely loved her husband, children, granddaughter Andi, her job at Willoughby Hills Friends Church, and first and foremost, she loved God and serving His kingdom.
A celebration of life will be held at 10am, March 9, 2024, at Renew Communities Church (388 Bagley Road, Berea, Ohio 44017). The family requests no flowers, but donations can be made to Renew Communities Church or to the American Cancer Society (PO Box 1981, Cleveland, OH 44106; include “in memory of Vonda Borer” with your donation).
With all the love in our hearts, we look forward to being together again someday.
Revelations 21:4 – “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Vonda and I went to middle school together. She was such a sweet, caring, and fun girl even way back when! We were both in gymnastics and dance for years together. Rest in peace my friend.
As much as I loved Vonda and will miss her, I will not be able to make it to her memorial. I do not drive far from home. With it being a Monday, I do not have someone to take me. I will send a card.Vonda God loves you now. You are in heaven. You will stay in our thoughts.love Aunt Mary

She will be missed
We will see you again in Heaven, Cuz
Vonda was a kindhearted soul who I had the please of getting to know by working together in our community. She had a smile that would light up a room and would do anything for anyone. She loved her family and she loved the Lord. I was blessed to be a part of her life. My prayers to Bill , her children, granddaughter and family.
One amazing, loving, kind, giving friend. If she showed up at a , bring a dish, party, she brought 3. I use to tell her she was my number one, phone a friend, because she really did know a lot about a lot of things. And if Vonda gives you information about something, don’t debate her, she was probably right lol I could go on…
Love you girl, see ya soon!
My deepest condolences to the family. Vonda is in peace with our Heavenly Father.
